GUARANTEED & VIABLE CURRICULUM

The study of mathematics teaches the brain to reason quantitatively, abstractly, logically, spatially, critically and to solve problems.

The objects of this course:

(1) Reason with expressions and linear equations;
(2) Solve problems with lines of best fit;
(3) Solve problems with systems of equations;
(4) Describe quantitative relationships with functions;
(5) Analyze geometric figures with distance, angles, similarity and congruence.
(6) Apply the Pythagorean Theorem.
